Water Truck Driver

ETIC is currently seeking a Water Truck Driver to drive a 4,000-gallon water truck to and from project locations. The candidate will be responsible for driving the assigned water truck in a 40-mile radius of the Lancaster / Palmdale area. The ideal candidate will possess a Class A or Class B CDL license with tanker endorsement, a minimum of 2 years of driving experience, and a clean driving record.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities


  • Conduct pre-trip inspection;

  • Drive water truck to fill sites, fill water truck tank with up to 4,000 gallons of water;

  • Perform daily dust control spray work;

  • Maintain personal truck logs and vehicle inspection reports;

  • Responsible for the preventative maintenance to assigned vehicle and equipment;

  • Communicate and work in a professional manner at all times;

  • Participate in safety meetings prior to the start of an assigned task or project;

  • Compliance with ETIC- and client-specific Health and Safety requirements;

  • Responsible for other job duties, as needed.


    • Essential Requirements


  • High School diploma or G.E.D.

  • At least 2 years of Class A or B driving experience

  • Class A or Class B license with tanker endorsement

  • Must wear personal protective equipment

  • Must meet company defined, pre-employment, random, and annual alcohol/drug screen

  • Must meet company defined, pre-employment and annual physical

  • Valid California Driver’s License with clean driving record
